Veterans Day Assembly at Nellis AFB Campus!
Cora lAcademy Nellis AFB Campus recently hosted a #VeteransDayAssembly to honor and recognize the service of our brave men and women who have served to protect our country.
We were lucky to have River Smith, Hezron Oppong-Willis, General Armstrong - Commander of National Guard (Nevada), Colonel DeMotts - 99th Air Base Wing commander, Colonel Mares - 99th Mission Support Group commander, and other officers. They were able to share their memorable and detailed war experiences with students.
Our national anthem was sung by our very own staff member Ms. Thomas with the presentation of colors by the Nellis AFB Honor Guard. We also had an exciting performance from our 4th-grade students led by Mr. Stubblefield.
