Coral Academy Nellis AFB Campus recently hosted a Veterans Day Assembly to honor and recognize the service of our brave men and women who have served to protect our country.
We were lucky to have Col. Joshua Demotts, retired Air Force Veteran Patti Demotts, Nellis Honor Guard, and Nellis Coral Academy Student Honor Guard. They were able to share their memorable and detailed war experiences with students.
The presentation of colors was shared by the Nellis AFB Honor Guard. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by our student council president, and the Nellis Student Honor Guard led the remembrance of POW and MIA service members with the Presentation of a POW/MIA Remembrance Table. We closed the assembly with our fifth grade students singing the Nifty Fifty States.
