Coral Academy makes a big impression at Nevada Junior Duck Stamp Contest this year!
The United States Department of Interior Fish and Wildlife Service, Desert National Wildlife Refuge Complex; created a program that connects with students through an art contest that teaches information about nature and gives information about Ducks and their habitats.
Five of Nevada’s winners were from Coral Academy this year, with four first-place winners. Nadia C., Ann L., and Giselle M. in Group Three and Ashley V. with first place in Group 4. One Coral Academy student Roseana B. took third place in Group four. All four proud winners created beautiful displays of art.
Winners' artwork will also be on display at the Visitors Center of the National Wildlife Refuges of Southern Nevada later this year. One this is sure you can count on Coral Academy of Science participating in this program again next year!
Go Falcons!
