Congratulations to Coral Academy Sandy Ridge Speech and Debate Team!

This past weekend, the Falcon speech and debate team competed at the National qualifying tournament. 5 students are heading to Nats! They’ll be off to Des Moines in June for the NSDA National Tournament. The following students are qualified:

Cevan L. (3x qualifier) in Program Oral Interpretation,

Ken B. and Lemon D. in Public Forum.

The following students have been selected to represent all of Southern Nevada at The National Tournament:

Zoe K. - World Schools Debate,

Jonathan A. (3x qualifier) - World Schools Debate.

An extremely special shoutout to Mrs. Singleton, The Golden Desert New Coach of the Year! Mrs. Singleton has worked tirelessly to rebuild and maintain this program. Nobody deserves it more!

Finally, Coral Academy takes home the 2nd place District sweepstakes award for US Extemporaneous speaking for the 2nd year in a row.
