Nevada Math League Middle School Competition

Congratulations to the Coral Academy Windmill MathTeams! 

 

We are happy to announce that they competed at the Judith Steele for the Nevada Math League Middle School Competition and four of our students listed below ranked top at the Math League Contests:

 

Team Test Category;

Vidyuth N., and Ethan T. got 1st Place ( Qualifier for Next Round)

        

7th Grade;

Vidyuth N. got 1st Place (Both Sprint and Target Rounds)

 

Division 6 Team Category;

Emma K., and Aiden L. got 1st Place

 

6th Grade;

Ethan T. got 1st Place (Sprint Round)

Emma K. got 1st Place (Both Sprint and Target Rounds), and  2nd Place (Number Sense Category)

Aiden L.  got 1st Place (Number Sense Category,) and  2nd Place (Both Sprint and Target Rounds)

 

These students are members of the ASTEM Competitive Club under the advisorship of Mr. Aretano.

 

In addition, the following 5th graders under Mr. Graffice were also recognized as top scorers:

 

Julian H. got 1st Place (Both Sprint and Target Rounds),

Aswinth C. B. got 4th Place (Sprint Round),  3rd Place (Target Round), and 3rd Place (Number Sense Category),

Kayla T. got 8th Place Sprint Round.
