Centennial Hills Robotics teams competed at the DISCOVERY Children's Museum!
We are thrilled to announce that Coral Academy Centennial Hills VEX IQ Robotics teams have been invited to compete at the DISCOVERY Children's Museum on Jan 6, 2024.
Dozens of children from across town gathered in Downtown Las Vegas Saturday to showcase their STEM skills. There were 26 teams participating from all around the Vegas Valley at Discovery Children's Museum. These robots were built with patience and plenty of STEM skills.
We are happy to announce that our students got medals listed below;
Team A and Team B. Both teams finished in the top twenty in overall competition. Team A also received the Judges Award, the school’s first elementary-level robotics award. The award is presented to a team deserving of special recognition because of its exemplary effort at the event, its skill in overcoming obstacles or challenges in achieving a goal, and the demonstration of team collaboration and student understanding of the Engineering Design Process during an in-person interview.
We want to extend special thanks to Coaches Ms. Malloy and Mrs. Richards for their outstanding leadership and dedication.
